Paper on the Effect of Shortening Lock-in Periods in Telecoms Conditionally Accepted at MISQ

My paper on the effect of shortening lock-in periods in the telecommunications industry, with Chris Yang and Miguel Matos, has been conditionally accepted for publication at MISQ. This paper estimates switching costs in triple-play services and shows that reducing lock-in periods may not always increase welfare because of the capital fixed costs associated to the additional reallocation of consumers among firms.
